#Where are the people (Parlamentarians) of Brazilian Congress after demonstration on the streets of 70 cities in 26 states ? By José Nêumanne Pinto
The enemies of Lava Jato, former judge Sergio Moro, prosecutor Dallagnol and Operation Car Wash try to disqualify the popular demonstration on the streets of 70 cities in 26 states as insignificant to reinforce the support given to their immediate and critical opponents who made the two institutions: the Congress, which claims to represent citizenship and the STF, which considers as its main mission to correct judgments of judges of lower instances and to make public hearings to popular pressure. What if they summoned the people who sustain them to support their institutional prerogatives in the same streets where two acts recriminated them on May 26 and June 30? How about proving they're right? Straight to the subject. And only the truth will save us.

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil – Thousands protested in Brazil on Sunday, June 30, in support of Justice Minister Sergio Moro, who is battling claims he conspired with prosecutors on his anti-corruption drive to keep former leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva from another presidential run.
Moro, who was a powerful judge before joining President Jair Bolsonaro's cabinet in January, has faced calls for his resignation over leaked chats purportedly showing he worked with prosecutors in the so-called Car Wash probe to keep Lula, a popular leftist, out of the 2018 presidential race.
Demonstrators dressed in Brazil's national colors of yellow and green took to the streets in 88 cities, news website G1 reported, including the capital Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, to show their support for Moro, who is considered a hero by many Brazilians fed up with corrupt leaders.
The protesters also demanded Congress approve the government's ambitious overhaul of the bloated retirement system. Bolsonaro has warned it will bankrupt the country if changes are not adopted.
Turnout, though, appeared to be lower than in recent protests for and against Bolsonaro's administration.
"I think minister Moro is fundamental to everything that is going well in this country. Show me one person before him who could make people believe, in whom we could place our trust," Nelson de Oliveira Filho, 70, told Agence France-Presse at the Sao Paulo march.
Bolsonaro tweeted his congratulations to the protesters, while Moro thanked supporters who "believe in our work."
"Hackers, criminals, or malicious publishers will not alter these fundamental truths," he said on Twitter.
In the latest messages published by The Intercept investigative website, prosecutors expressed concern that Moro had a personal and political agenda in the probe and were unhappy over his appointment to the far-right government, which they feared would undermine the credibility of the investigation.
Moro has questioned the authenticity of the leaked chats and dismissed claims that he showed bias in the Car Wash cases.
He recently told a Senate committee that he had been the victim of "revenge" over his anti-corruption efforts.
No one has been untouchable in the Car Wash probe, which began in 2014 and upended Brazilian politics by uncovering large-scale looting of state oil company Petrobras.
Scores of top players across the political spectrum as well as business figures have been taken down.
But critics say Moro – who handed Lula his first conviction in 2017 for money-laundering and taking bribes, effectively ending both his election hopes and decades of center-left rule – targeted the former president and his popular Workers Party (PT) most of all.
The Supreme Court last week postponed debate on whether Moro had been impartial, after rejecting a petition to free Lula.
Lula, who led Brazil through a historic boom from 2003 to 2010, has denied all the corruption charges against him.

'Nobody reads the communique:' Top G20 moments
Here are some of the top moments and bon-mots from the 2 day meeting hosted by Japan in the city of Osaka

OSAKA, Japan – From quips and surprise trips, to candid confessions about the final communique, this year's G20 summit offered surprises as well as relief in the form of a US-China trade truce.
Here are some of the top moments and bon-mots from the two-day meeting hosted by Japan in the city of Osaka:
Trade truce
It was the summit within a summit: the long-awaited meeting between US President Donald Trump and China's Xi Jinping to thrash out a truce in the trade war between the world's top two economies.
And when the meeting was over, Trump delivered the news everyone had been waiting for: "We are right back on track," the US president said after talks he described as "excellent."
There were precious few details on what the two leaders had agreed, beyond a commitment to resume trade negotiations and hold off on tariffs, offering the world economy some breathing space for now.
Climate change heat
At a summit expected to be dominated by trade, climate change proved an unexpected hot potato, with France's Emmanuel Macron saying the issue was a "red line" before talks even began.
"My lines don't have colors," joked European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, who nonetheless agreed that strong action was needed.
Negotiators worked through the night to agree language that mirrored that of the last G20, claiming it as a small victory.
"We avoided going backwards... but we must go much further," Macron said after the summit.
North Korea, but no Iran
With tensions spiralling in the Gulf, Iran was expected to be a key focus at the summit and bilateral meetings, but it was barely mentioned, with Trump instead stealing the show in a surprise tweet... on North Korea.
"If Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!" Trump tweeted, inviting Kim Jong Un to meet for a historic handshake at the demilitarized zone that divides the Korean peninsula.
The tweet came before Trump headed to South Korea, and he insisted he would have "no problem" stepping into the North with Kim if invited.
All the president's men
In person, Trump played nice with world leaders who he has not hesitated to criticize in tweets and interviews, but he appeared most at ease in the company of some of the group's most controversial members, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The pair smiled and joked about "fake news," and when Trump was asked if he would tell Putin not to interfere in US elections, he turned to the Russian president with a grin.
"Don't meddle in the election, president, don't meddle," he said, wagging his finger jokingly at the Kremlin strongman.

Trump also showered praise on Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Mohammed, despite accusations of his involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
And he posed with off his signature thumbs up for a photo with Brazil's right-wing President Jair Bolsonaro, sometimes dubbed the 'Trump of the Tropics.'
'Nobody reads the communique'
Negotiators labored through the night to get agreement on a final communique that warned "most importantly, trade and geopolitical tensions have intensified," endorsing language in a hard-won statement from the group's finance ministers earlier this month.
On climate, they won a deal to repeat the so-called 19+1 formula, with 19 countries endorsing the "irreversibility" of the Paris climate agreement while Washington repeated its plans to withdraw from the accord.
But Juncker made a candid admission even as negotiations were ongoing, saying jetlag had prompted him to break a longstanding tradition of not reading the communique.
"I'm not the only one in this room who does not read the communique. Nobody in fact reads the communique." – Rappler.com

Description
Thousands took to the streets in Sao Paulo on Sunday (June 30) in support of Justice Minister Sergio Moro following the release of leaked chats purportedly showing he worked with prosecutors to keep leftist Lula Da Silva out of the 2018 presidential race.
Footage shows protesters dressed in Brazil's national colours of yellow and green as they gather in the city centre.
''God patriot has dreamed of a right-wing country like we have now, what they are doing is an international plot to destroy the growth of Brazil,'' a protester says in the video.
''Bolsonaro is our hope, Brazil's trust is deposited in them, they are the envoys of God, a hope for all of us, it is everything we dream for Brazil, these two men and their team is everything that Brazil needs to have a decent future for all Brazilians,'' she adds.
